Tears bubbled in the male's eyes as the flashback ended.

 

'Why can't she just come back already? ____... please.. I miss you..' a few tears slid down his cheek as he bit his lip trying to stop himself from crying. He took a deep breath, wiped his tears and continued his daily routine.

 

 

Gilbert was currently with his two friends at the park. He sat on top of a picnic table while the other two sat on the bench.

 

"Mis amigos! Let's go to Maid Cafe! It'll be nice for once," Antonio, a brown haired spaniard, said with a wide grin on his face. His green eyes sparkling as usual.

 

"Why there?" Gilbert asked, raising one of his eyebrows in confusion.

"What? Can't we go there?" Antonio asked, smirking ever so slightly.

 

"Beside, it looks like it's gonna rain," Francis, a frenchman with long blonde locks and blue eyes, said. Gilbert let his gaze turn towards the dark sky.

 

"Ja, ja. Whatever, let's just go," Gilbert jumped off the table and walked ahead, missing the smirk that were shared between his two friends. When they arrived at the cafe, they took a seat beside the window.

 

 

I was listening in on Francis about some girl he got the other day. Typical Francis. I look at Antonio to see him looking at his watch.

 

"Oi Toni! You vaiting for somezhing?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. Toni's face turned red and he spouted out random nonsense.

 

"Ah! no! it's just that-" I didn't hear the rest as I look outside. It was raining heavily. The door bell chimed and a, very familiar, female voice was heard.

 

"Ah! It's nice to be back again~" she giggled to herself. I snapped my head up to see a woman with (h/l) length (h/c) hair, sticking to her (f/c) coat. Her (e/c) eyes looked around the little cafe with a sense of nostalgia in them. My mind went blank.

 

'I-is that..'

 

"Chica! Chica! Over here!" Toni yelled, waving his arm in the air. The female grinned and walked over, placing her bag near the table.

 

"______!" Toni stood up and enveloped the female in a hug. ____?!

 

"Mon dieu! You look gorgeous!" Francis exclaimed, practically glomping her. "So.." Francis pulled away and smirked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Can I have you heart now, mon amour~?"

 

"You idiot," she laughed, the same beautiful laugh, and punched Francis's arm playfully. The three of them laughed, and I'm probably just sitting here like a-

 

"Oi! Why you sitting there like an idiot? don't you miss me, Gil?" she smiled, sitting beside me. I touched her hand carefully. I still couldn't believe she was here. With me. After 2 whole years, the woman I love is right here. Right in front of me. I held her body close to mine, placing my head in the crook of her neck. The scent of (fav. scent) invaded my senses.

 

"Gilbert? hey.. why are you crying?" she tried to look at my face but I just held her tighter. That's when I heard her giggle. "I thought the awesome you never cries," I could practically hear the smirk in her voice.

 

"S-shut up frau..!" I smiled, a real smile. I pulled away from her and kissed her cheeks. As I pulled away, slowly, I could feel the heat from her cheeks radiate to mine. When I finally had a good look at her, her face was red and a pout was on her lips. I raised an eyebrow at her.

 

"Idiot.. You missed.." she look me dead in the eye as my face turned to one of confusion. I opened my mouth to say something but was stop by a pair of lips. Her lips to be exact. As she pulled away, both of our faces were red. Well, hers more than mine. I smiled, remembering the time when we confessed two years ago, in this very spot. Back then, she had tears in her eyes and she was clinging to my shirt saying she didn't want to leave.

 

"Ich liebe dich, mein frau," I whispered, bringing her hand close and kissing the ring on her finger. I look into her beautiful (e/c) eyes and smiled. Life is certainly going to change now that she's here again.
